Description
1/9/25 - This is a nice example of a Springfield M1 Garand manufactured in November of 1942. A detailed parts list is included in the photos. Correct parts are highlight in green, incorrect parts in red. Overall, the metal parts have retained about 93-94% of their finish with high edge wear in general and muzzle wear. The wood has no major damage but shows obvious bruising throughout. There is an "SA" inspection stamp on the left side, and the "P" proof appears to be double-proofed. White rack number on the right side of the butt stock. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading: 1. Comes with a period-correct bayonet and scabbard.Specifications
