2/18/25 - This is an excellent example of a US Property-marked Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless. The gun was made in 1944, but these pistols were developed early in 1903 as small frame hammerless pocket automatic pistol and proved to be a very successful and popular design for Colt. They were eventually adopted by the US military during WWII as both a small frame sidearm and as a general officers pistol. This one is matching, "US Property" marked, and has a small cross-canon military cartouche on the left side of the frame. It has retained about 96% of its parkerized finish with just very minor high edge wear and a couple of light surface scratches. Fitted with excellent wood grips. Shiny bore with great rifling. It comes with one magazine, an owners manual, and what looks like a reproduction box bottom with a period-correct lid.
