Description

3/4/25 - This is a very nice example of a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 issued to the Austria-Hungarian military during WW1, in 1916. The gun is all matching, is dated 1916, and has the proper Austrian military acceptance proof on the right side of the trigger guard. There is no "08" on the left side of the slide, indicating that it was not converted to 9mm and is therefore still chambered in 9mm Steyr. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is some light oxidation on the left side of the slide, some minor dulling on both grip straps, and a small area of wear on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. The bore has strong rifling with just some very light pin-pricking.
