3/28/25 - This is a rare Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless pistol issued to a US Army Commanding Officer during WW2. All matching. According to the included factory letter, this particular gun was delivered to a US Transportation Officer at the Springfield Armory for a Commanding Officer on November 3, 1944. The gun's original finish rates roughly 80%. The majority of the finish loss comes in the form of spotty discoloration and wear on the whole right side of the gun. On the left side of the gun, there are some spots of oxidation, some light surface scratches, and an area of minor pitting. Fitted with excellent wood grips and comes with one proper magazine.
