Description
4/2/25 - This is a Colt 1903 chambered in 32 ACP. This particular pistol is a General Officer’s Model issued to Brigadier General John H. Elder, Jr. on Dec 3rd 1964. Brigadier General John H. Elder, Jr. was commander of the 79th Engineer Group, 20th Engineer Brigade, and 18th Engineer Brigades from 1968-1969 during the Vietnam War. It comes with its original holster, and paperwork of the officer they were issued to. The right side of the frame is "US Property" marked. The slide is mismatched to the frame. However, the frame and slide serial numbers are both listed in the GO pistol book (photo copies of the pages are included. The slide is numbered to another General Officer pistol that was issued from RIA the same month in 1968. This is noted in the book as being a normal occurrence at that time. The gun's parkerized finish rates about 97% with just very minor muzzle wear. Fitted with minty checkered wood grips and comes with one magazine. Mint bore.Specifications
