3/27/25 - This is a minty example of a Sauer 38h sold in the commercial market during WW2. It is all matching, lacks military proofs, and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. This exact gun is listed by serial number on page 341 of Jim Cate's book on Sauers. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor muzzle wear, some very minor thinning on the grip straps, and one small area of wear and minor discoloration on the right side of the slide. Fitted with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with a very nice period-correct Akah holster with a faint but visible "Sauer" ink stamp on the inside. Also comes with two correct magazines. The bore is like-new.
