Description
4/10/25 - This is a very interesting example of a GI bring-back CZ Model 27 pistol. It lacks all serial numbers or proof markings, indicating it was likely put together from parts by a GI at the very end of the war. Interestingly, it has an earlier high polish blued finish with earlier straw-colored small parts. It comes with the original copy of the WW2 capture paperwork that lists a Czech "M27" pistol with no serial number. It also names the American GI, John W Wellberg. The previous owner did research on this GI and found some information that is included in the photos. You will see John Wellberg's Registration Card and a photo of his head stone. The gun's original finish rates about 95% with minor high edge and a small spot of somewhat scratchy wear on the left side of the slide. Mint bore.Specifications
