Description

4/23/25 - This is a very early Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1913. It is "United States Property" marked and has the proper military inspection proof. Correct "HP" Colt barrel. Correct early half-moon rear sight. The finish is nice overall, but the slide has been re-blued. There is some finish loss and spotty patina on the grip straps. A few light scratches on the right side of the gun. Fitted with excellent correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone lanyard loop magazine. The bore is has good rifling, but there is some frosting in the grooves.
