Description

5/7/25 - This is a nice example of a scarce WB-marked Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1942. The slide is numbered and matching. It is "United States Property" marked and has "WB" inspector initials. The barrel is an HS High Standard barrel, not Colt. The gun's finish rates roughly 85% with just minor general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and thinning on the front strap. Light spotty oxidation on most of the gun. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with one "L" marked magazine. Mint bore.
