Description

5/8/25 - This is an earlier-production Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in April of 1943. All matching with the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs. There is a name stamped onto the front strap, "I. H. DEARNESS". It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear, thinning around the barrel, and some thinning with light brown patina. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with an "Eagle 88" marked Spreewerk magazine. The bore has good rifling with just very light frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional. The hold-open does not work automatically with this magazine.
