Description
8/4/25 - This is a nice example of a Type II Paratrooper rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is mostly matching (including the conjoining parts in the middle), but the firing pin and cocking knob. Unfortunately, the original Imperial mum stamp on the receiver has been ground. The gun is in nice condition overall, retaining somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There are areas of minor thinning on the sides of the receiver, on the floor plate / trigger group, and on the butt plate. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is light brown patina on most of the metal parts. The wood stock has no major damage, but there is some bruising here and there and some light scuffs - average condition for these guns. Comes with a high quality reproduction dust cover. The bore is mint.
