6/24/26 - This is a good example of 1917 manufactured holster for the M1917 revolver made by G&K for WW1, this holster is for a left handed shooter. The M1917 Revolvers were large framed revolvers in .45 ACP, they were manufactured by Colt and Smith & Wesson. The leather on this holster is in good condition with medium pliability and some surface cracking on the flap of the holster. Additionally there are some minor scrapes and gauges in the leather, but nothing that impacts the holsters functionality. The flap of the holster has what appears to have possibly been a unit marking on it, but this has faded over time. The belt loop is maker, date, and inspector stamped with "G&K 1917 A.G.".
