Description

9/23/22 - This is a Winchester model 1903 rifle produced in 1911. The rifle has a reduced price because of a minor bulge in the barrel near the muzzle. This looks like a small ring of wear in the bore, and likely was due to the use of improper ammunition in the rifle. The rifle takes .22 Winchester (NOT .22 LR). The receiver is missing most of the finish, and has a natural brown patina throughout. The barrel still has most of the original bluing intact and the wood is in great shape with no cracks or chips. Smooth functionality, but we do not recommend shooting before having a gunsmith inspection.
