Description
3/7/26 - This is an excellent example of reproduction of the 1913 Prototype Artillery Luger Stock and holster. The stock is made from German walnut and is in excellent condition and contains a brass cleaning rod and tool (both reproductions) This stock is based off a prototype that was created in 1913 and based off a similar concept as the C96 shoulder stocks. That being a wooden stock that can house the pistol inside. These stocks were deemed to complex and less durable, and were phased out quickly for the more well known flat-board shoulder stocks. There were less than 50 of these more complex stocks made, and as a result originals today are quite rare. This stock comes with a reproduction leather carrying holster that is also based off the original made for these prototype stocks. The leather is in excellent condition and contains a reproduction luger tool. The leather case has pouches on it for magazines. These reproductions were manufactured by CMR International in Ashford, England.
