Description
6/21/18 - This is an original early 1941 production Walther P.38. The pistol is all matching and correct with a high polish blued finish and small parts eagle/359 proofed. The pistol has no letter suffix, meaning it was produced in January of 1941. The finish rates at about 94% overall, with most of the wear being on the right side of the slide. There's some light pitting under the proof stamps near the edge of the slide. The barrel has some bluing loss and muzzle wear. The straps are excellent with very nice bluing in tact. The bore has very minor edge wear on the grooves, and overall is shiny and excellent. Comes with original grips and a serial numbered magazine (in the 'a' suffix, so one month after this pistol was produced). The grips are also properly eagle/359 proof stamped. Guaranteed original !
