SOLD - Police Modified G Date Mauser Luger - Matching Mag

2/16/23 - This is a G Date Mauser Luger originally produced in 1935 for military use. However, at some point this pistol was diverted to a police arsenal where the frame was refinished, and the upper receiver was modified with an added police sear safety. The pistol is still all matching and correct with all original parts, including one original matching numbered police magazine. We believe the upper receiver and barrel assembly are the original factory finish because there's some mild muzzle wear and thinning of the finish on the barrel, as well as typical rub wear that leaves the rails "in the white". Further, there are visible "halos" around the serial number stamped on the barrel. The rails on the frame are blued however, which is why we believe only the frame was refinished. The pistol is in beautiful condition overall and rates at 97%. The bore is excellent as well with some mild frosting in the grooves. The wood grips are unmarked internally and in great condition with no cracks or chips.
