10/27/23 - This unusual "Navy" Commercial M1904 Luger Pistol was the subject of a recent YouTube video where we discussed the pros and cons of the guns, along with some theories and conclusions on what this could be. At best this is a rare Commercial Navy Model 1904 (the "holy grail" for a Navy Luger collector). At worst this is a put together "fantasy luger". See the link below for more details and our full video. The pistol is all matching with original finish that rates around 98% overall condition. There's natural patina throughout the finish when inspected under a bright light, but very minimal finish loss is present. Straw parts are missing most of the straw finish, about 30% remains intact. Mechanically sound with smooth action. Comes with an original unmarked WW1 era Imperial Navy Luger magazine. Original grips that are in great condition with an excellent fit.
