Description

6/6/25 - Original and very good condition. This Winchester Model 1885 was manufactured approximately 1920. It has a 27" barrel and chambered in .22 Short. The bore is clean and rates a good 8 of 10. The single shot action operates smoothly and correctly. The top of the receiver is US stamped with a flaming bomb. The original finish rates about 80%+ with some thinning on the receiver and the top of the barrel. There is no pitting or corrosion. Fitted with an adjustable rear peep sight that is missing a screw on the mount. However, it is secure with the remaining screws. There is a minor crack repair at the back of the receiver tang. Overall, a very nice piece.
