Description

7/22/25 - Great looking Swedish Mauser Model 1896 rifle chambered in 6.5x55 and manufactured in 1900. The 1896 was derived from the Mauser Model 1893 with a cock-on-close action. The rifle is in great condition overall with the metal retaining about 90 - 95% original bluing, with most of the wear around the trigger guard and mag plate. The stock and handguard are in equally nice condition with no cracks or breaks. The bolt release, receiver, rear barrel band and mag plate are matching. The bore is clean and rates an 8 of 10. The muzzle is not thread for the blankfire adapter. There is no import mark. Smooth action and fully functional.
