Description
11/4/25 - Original and great condition. A seldom seen model 1907 British "W.O.P" (war office pattern) miniature civilian single shot training rifle. The committee of the British War Office in 1905 designed a low-powered training rifle to meet the requirements of the civilian rifle clubs, schools and other organizations for teaching marksmanship in England. Produced by the "LSA" London Small Arms Co, styled after the standard British service rifle. The 24" barrel has the original military sights with a great bore. Stamped "The London Small Arms Co, Ltd, London 1907, Min. Rifle, (miniture rifle) & W.O. Patt. (war office) 22L (long) .620" (chamber length)" The finish rates about 95%+ with minor spots here and there with minimal wear. It features a folding front sight cover and a leather sling. The one piece wood stock shows a few dings with the "LSA" cartouche on the left butt stock. Smooth operation.
