Description
4/2/26 - This is an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. This is a first variation example, characterized by by the "ac" marking on the web of the trigger guard. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The grips are made by Walther but are not waffen-proofed or numbered. Comes with an un-numbered "AC" and "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The gun has a Russian capture "X" on the left side of the frame, and the gun has a dark "Russian dipped" finish. Import mark on the underside of the tang. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are areas of pin-pricking visible under the finish throughout. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
