Description
8/7/26 - This is an AC 43 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. It has a rare "W" marked barrel (left side), indicating it has a chamber modification for steel-case ammo. It comes as a rig with a fairly worn 1943-dated holster and two period-correct "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazines. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original bluing. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, an area of wear on the left side of the slide, some spotty discoloration along the right side of the slide, a small area of wear on the top plate, and minor thinning on the front strap. Areas of pitting on both sides of the slide and on the left side of the barrel. Fitted with correct blackish-brown phenolic grips. Nice bore with good rifling, just some minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
