4/10/18 - This is a gorgeous Colt Single Action Army, 3rd Generation, featuring the four major styles of Colt engraving. Referred to as a Colt Engraving Sampler, this minty revolver has grips marked with the names of three factory engravers and the dates they were employed by Colt. The frame is marked Colt Engraved Sampler and has a rampant Colt motif with the number 150 inside, referring to the 150th anniversary. This grouping comes with the original matching box and a Colt factory letter. The letter states that the firearm has the following features: Type 'B' scroll engraving in "Henshaw" on the bottom of the back strap and on the trigger guard bow, "Nimschke" on the cylinder, "Helfricht" on the frame, and "Contemporary" on the barrel and ejector rod housing. The subject revolver is one of only 14 in the Sampler Edition in this particular model configuration.
