11/3/25 - This is a beautiful example of an early Colt National Match. The Colt National Match 1911 is Colt’s competition-grade version of the classic Government Model, built for precision and shooter-grade durability at a time when competitive pistol shooting was booming in the United States. chambered in .45 ACP, the National Match features Colt’s heavier, tuned National Match barrel and bushing, improved slide-to-frame fit, and a hand-fitted, polished feed ramp and barrel throat for reliable, accurate feeding - usually paired with adjustable target sights, a National Match hammer and sear, and checkered walnut or laminated target grips. This one is an earlier example with no "Gold Cup" roll stamp on the slide. It is in mint condition with no notable signs of wear. Like-new bore. It comes with its original matching-numbered box, owners manual, and one magazine.
