Description
8/22/19 - This is a near-mint example of an early Manurhin produced Walther PP in desirable .22 LR caliber. After the war, the Walther family made a deal with the French Manurhin conglomerate to produce Walther PP, PPK and P38 pistols under license. The .22LR line of PPs started in 1954-1955 at serial number 10,000, with all the guns bearing a Manurhin legend on the left side of the slide and being finished in a beautiful high gloss blue, similar to the early prewar production examples. The fit and finish rivaled the quality of the prewar Walther production as well. This particular gun was made in the first year of production is appears in near new original condition, with just the slightest Äúbox wearÄù on the front edges of the slide and on the edges of the grip straps. Mint bore and grips. Sharp markings. A matching serial numbered box shows moderate wear that it acquired while protecting the gun for the past 65 years. An original manual remains in nice, undamaged condition.Specifications
