Description

1/26/21 - This is an original Colt 1911 from 1915 that was issued to the US Army. Only about 11,000 Colt 1911s were produced in 1915, which is the lowest military production total for any year other than 1916. It has about 85% of the original blue remaining, with an excellent profile but most of the finish loss and patina on the front strap and mainspring housing. 'H' marked slide with disconnected 'P H' marked barrel. Terrific bore and excellent grips. Two-tone magazine with lanyard ring.
