Description

6/22/22 - This is a nice example of the desirable Gewehr 43 rifle, made in 1944 at the Berlin Lubecker factory for the German Army. This example has all matching numbers, including internals as shown in photos. The finish on metal parts is original and in great condition with minor thinning throughout. Bore is shiny with strong rifling and just a little frost in the grooves. Stock was probably sanded lightly at some point but waffenamts on the left face are still fairly sharp. Original 'aye' marked mag. The stock features the phenolic resin handguard and thin surface crack near the front of the trigger group. The scope mount is a Czech repro and the scope is also a Czech replacement. It has clear optics with sharp reticle.
