2/2/24 - This is a fantastic example of an original Black Army Colt 1911 from 1918. The original finish rates at 97-98% with very minor high edge wear, a light 'idiot' scratch, and tiny bit of wear on the mainspring housing and front strap. Proper Colt barrel with intertwined PH marking. Minty bore. Nice wood grips with generally sharp checkering. The listing includes a Colt archive letter stating this pistol was shipped to the Brooklyn terminal in October of 1918.Specifications
