5/5/26 - This is a beautiful example of a Colt Police Positive Target Revolver, manufactured in 1929 and chambered in .22 LR. This particular gun comes with its original matching-numbered box, owners manual, and a rare attachable shoulder stock/holster manufactured by either W.P Thompson or the Ideal Holster Company (one of the metal anchors on the top edge is missing, but it folds out and functions just fine). It also fitted with the correct Ideal grips that are slotted to accept the stock attachment. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original high polish bluing, but there is some minor spotty brown patina on the butt of the frame, a light roll mark on the cylinder, and two tiny spots of oxidation and pitting - one on the right side of the barrel and one on the top strap. Mint bore.
