Description
9/17/26 - This is a beautiful, original example of an early military Colt 1911 from 1913. Early 1913 production with proper early barrel (H on hood), rare Keyhole magazine, excellent wood grips, etc. Proper slide with 1911 patent date. The original, lustrous Colt bluing rates at around 90% with wear around the muzzle, front strap and bottom of mainspring housing. There are also a few notable dings on the right side of the slide/frame. Nice bore but there is minor frost throughout. Excellent grips with only minor handling wear.
