Description

7/16/19 - This is a near-mint Walther PP rig, manufactured in about 1936 with Crown/N proofs and early 90 degree safety. The RJ on the front strap is the distinct characteristic and the marking is under the original bluing. The original finish is about 98%, with some edge/muzzle wear on the slide, and some finish loss on the bottom of the back strap. Minty bore. Rig includes one finger extension magazine, and one flat-bottom example. It is completed by an unmarked shoulder holster. RJ PPs were issued to the "Reichs Bureau of Justice", or in other words, the courts, judges, guards, etc. Probably rarely used other than annual "qualifying trials".
