11/5/25 - This is beautifully-engraved S&W Model 60 Revolver from 1974-77. The engraving work was done post-factory by Roger Bleile. C. Roger (Roger) Bleile is a well-known American firearms engraver and author whose books American Engravers (and later American Engravers - The 21st Century / American Engravers III) helped document and promote modern U.S. engraving talent. He’s been engraving since the mid-1970s and is a founding/official historian figure for the Firearm Engravers Guild of America (FEGA), which positions him as both a practitioner and a key chronicler of the craft. Bleile’s work is known for being detailed and classically rooted (fine scrolls, floral motifs and precise lettering). And he has engraved commercial pieces as well as produced the high-quality photographic volumes that showcase other master engravers. Bleile engraved this particular revolver under the right grip which is photographed in the listing. This particular gun has a stainless finish and shows virtually no signs of wear. Fitted with smooth brownish plastic grips with embedded American Eagle emblems. Mint bore.
