7/31/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt Police Positive in .38 Special from 1926. It is all matching with and was issued to someone at Chase National Bank, as evidenced by the marking on the back strap. It comes with a later box (mismatched) and a black leather holster. This gun has retained roughly 80% of its high polish finish. Most of the finish loss is on the back strap, but there is also some muzzle wear and very minor high edge wear. Fitted with excellent checkered wood grips. Like-new bore.
