11/7/25 - This is a Colt Police Positive Revolver, manufactured in 1939 and chambered in .38 Special. It is matching and has retained roughly 70% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps and on the underside of the trigger guard, but there is also general high edge and muzzle wear. There are areas of discoloration and patina on both sides of the frame. Noticeable spotty oxidation along the barrel. Fitted with hand-checkered wood grips. Mint bore. Comes with a period-correct but un-numbered box.
