Description
4/27/26 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PP rig issued to the Nazi Railway Police in 1940. The gun is all matching, has the proper "Eagle N" proofs, and has the issue date "1940" stamped on the left side of the slide, a characteristic unique to the Railway Police variation. It comes with a period-correct box, owners manual, cleaning rod, two magazines, Walther cleaning tin, yellow Walther cleaning rag, and oiler bottle. The box is not matching but close in number - the "8" has been handwritten-over. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is also minor muzzle wear and one small area of wear on the underside of the trigger guard. Fitted with excellent black bakelite grips. Very nice bore with strong rifling.
