Description
4/11/26 - This is an example of a Smith & Wesson Model 12-3 Revolver, manufactured in 1979 and chambered in .38 Special. It has a 2" barrel and a blued finish. The finish rates roughly 75-80% with bluing loss over both sides of the barrel, the top of the frame, right side of the frame, the cylinder, and over all high edges. In addition to this, there has been some buff work done to some of the corners on the gun (probably to make it easier to get in and out of a holster). There is visible buffing over various parts of the frame and trigger guard. Very nice case-hardening on the small parts. Fitted with very nice hand-checkered wood grips. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The gun comes with its original matching box and includes the owner's manual, cleaning rod, and original purchase receipt.
