Description
12/17/25 - Approximately 25,000 Model 1917s were made for the Brazilian government, each stamped with the Brazilian crest on the sideplate and the date "1937." The large shipment of 1938 primarily included revolvers within the serial number range 181983 to 207043, while a 1946 shipment covered serial numbers from 207196 to 207989. This one has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its finish with general high edge wear and some areas of minor thinning on the frame. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is some light brown patina here and there and some small handling marks throughout. Two small areas of minor pitting on the barrel. Fitted with excellent smooth wood grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
