Description
7/24/26 - For sale is a Brazilian 1908/34 short rifle chambered in 7mm Mauser. These rifles were upgrade variants of the Model 1908 long rifle. The stock and barrels were shortened, and grasping grooves added. The metal is well worn and most of the finish is gone. There is some pitting on the bolt stop lever. The stock has been sanded and a very shiny varnish-like finish was applied. There is a 1/2" crack behind the tang and a crack between the rear sight and the front of the receiver on the handguard. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling. The surface is starting to frost over from oxidation. The rifle has mismatched parts. Cleaning rod is absent.
