8/10/21 - British Enfield SMLE rifle. No. 4 Mark 1 chambered in .303 caliber. Made by Savage as part of the lend lease program. U.S. Property marked. No import marks. Excellent stained reddish birch wood. All matching parts and stock, as well as a matching magazine. The 2-groove bore rates about an 8 of 10 with minor wear. Stamped w/ flaming bomb (US) - square S - No. 4 Mk1. WW II canvas sling marked 1945. Includes a Weaver K-6 scope with crystal clear optics. S&K Insta Mount base and Leupold lowmount rings. Reproduction sniper stock cheek piece.
