Description
04/22/26 - This is a British external hammer SxS shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge made by J Manton & Co. The gun is well aged and has a patina and a lightly oxidized finish. The barrel has a very faint remnant of the Damascus finish. The stock and forend are in nice condition, though there is a crack that wraps behind the upper tang. The bore is bright, but pitting and oxidation are visible. The gun has matching numbers on the frame, forend, and barrels. The bottoms of the barrels are stamped with British proofs (crossed halbred and spear). LOP is 13.5" from the front trigger. Both triggers work properly. A matching British hammer double with plenty of character.
