Description
9/24/26 - This is a shooter-grade example of a BYF 42 Mauser Luger that was issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is mismatched but has the proper "Eagle 135" military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. The finish rates roughly 80% of its bluing. The majority of the actual finish loss is concentrated along the barrel. There is noticeable spotty oxidation and having pitting along the barrel and towards the left front of the slide and frame. There are some numbers and letters lightly scratched into the left side of the frame. Fitted with fairly worn mismatched wood grips - chip in the upper corner of the left side. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 63" magazine and a reproduction black leather P.38 holster. The bore has decent rifling, but there is heavy spotty oxidation throughout.
