Description

3/2/2023 - This is a very nice example of a 'byf 44' Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in November of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "WaA135" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on the front strap, and very minor wear on the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There's also some finish loss on the tang. Excellent bore with little sign of use. De-cocker is functional. Comes with nice black grips (show some minor wear and scuffing), and original E/135 mag. NOTE: The grips fit perfectly but weren't put on correctly for the photos.
