Description

12/11/18 - This is an original Mauser BYF 43 P.38 from WW2. The pistol is all original, matching and correct. There is honest wear throughout the pistol, most notably throughout the front strap. Overall finish is about 90-94%. There is finish thinning and some patina throughout the straps, along with some bluing loss on the slide and barrel. The slide edges has some pin-pricking / pitting as well. The barrel has some exterior browning. The action is smooth and the bore is clean / excellent. Very nice rifling in the bore and minimal wear - 9/10 overall. Comes with an original magazine and reddish bakelite grips. Guaranteed original.
