07/10/2024 - For sale is a commercial Mauser 98 made by C Guntermann. This rifle is in good condition overall with some of the original bluing remaining on the barrel but has browned with age. The receiver looks to have been in the white originally but is worn with spots of patina. The bolt has some of its original case hardened finish visible. The stock is in good condition with no cracks or breaks. The dual trigger system works properly with the rear set trigger making the front trigger less than a pound for a trigger pull. The bore is somewhat bright but is starting to darken but has great rifling. The receiver has scope bases installed for an era correct optic.
