Description
12/15/25 - Produced in 1975, this Navy flavor of Colt’s Black powder series retains the exact 7.5-inch octagonal barrel profile of the original Civil War-era sidearm, yet benefits from modern metallurgy and factory craftsmanship of the 1970s. The high-polish blue finish is complemented by gold-plated brass on the trigger guard and back-strap, plus dual gold bands at the muzzle and rear of the cylinder. Signed by Colt Master Engraver Sam Welch and dressed in full-coverage American scroll with gold inlays, it represents one of the presentation-grade revolvers that left the Hartford plant during the mid-1970s. The revolver displays full-coverage scroll accented with a rampant Colt motif, all cut by hand and highlighted with gold inlay lines that frame key surfaces. Fitted with beautiful ivory grips. The gun is mint with no notable signs of wear or use. Comes with a wood presentation case and powder horn. Mint bore. No FFL required.
