Description
6/26/25 - This is a nice example of a cased Deane Adams & Deane M1851 Self-Cocking Percussion Revolver, 38 bore. The gun is all matching, has British proofs, and features a really nice floral filigree engraving pattern throughout and is in very nice condition for its age. A little less than half of the original high polish bluing is visible, but there is noticeable finish loss and spotty discoloration throughout. Excellent checkered wood grip - no cracks or chips. The bore shows really nice rifling, but there is a light coating of surface rust throughout. It comes with an original wood presentation case, an extra matching-numbered cylinder, bullet mold, a couple of tools, a ram rod, percussion caps, and a powder horn.
