7/31/26 - The Model 1900 American Eagle Luger holds a foundational place in firearms history as an early successful toggle locked design. Manufactured specifically for the American commercial market, DWM stamped the Great Seal of the United States directly over the chamber to appeal to civilian buyers. It features all the defining characteristics of the early 1900 model, including the classic dish toggle, unstepped frame, wide trigger guard, recessed breechblock, 4.75-inch barrel, no stock lug, and grip safety. This particular example is in beautiful condition, retaining about 95-96% of its deep bluing, complemented by vivid original straw still present on the trigger, takedown lever, safety, and ejector. There is minor finish loss on the side rails, on the high edges of frame and slide, around the ears, muzzle, and on the side plate. Some light nicks below the barrel and a couple light scratches on the slide directly in front of the side plate. A bit of wear along the sides of the trigger guard, and a few tiny hints of scattered speckling here and there on the straps, side rails and barrel. The bore is excellent, shiny with sharp rifling and very few signs of use. The pistol is all matching, including the grips, which are absolutely pristine. The pistol comes housed in a hard black leather reproduction presentation case with silver hardware, and includes two original magazines featuring the correct early (blank) wood bases. Also includes original tool, cleaning rod, and oiler.
