5/1/26 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Model 39-2 that was manufactured in 1978 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Connecticut State Police. It has a really nice two tone blued and nickeled finish, a special "CSP" serial number (this one is #272), the right side of the slide has an inscription that reads "Connecticut State Police, 75th Anniversary, 1903-1978", and there is a Connecticut State Police seal on the right side of the frame. It comes in a really nice 75th anniversary wood presentation case. Also comes with two matching-numbered magazines and a green lanyard. The gun shows no actual finish loss, but there is some minor discoloration along the top of the slide and some very light freckling at the left of the slide. Fitted with mint smooth wood grips. Minty bore.
