Description
5/19/26- For sale is a WW2 era Cattaragus Quartermaster knife. These knives were issued to troops during the war both as utility and fighting knives. The knife has a large and heavy blade with significant patina and some evidence of regrinding along the edge. The blade is stamped "Cattaraugus 2250". The leather handle has wear and some deformation of the leather wrap but no deep scrapes or damage. The scabbard is heavily aged and brittle. The top edge of the scabbard has torn away from the rivets and stitching is missing on both the left and right sides of the scabbard pouch. The top of the scabbard has town through so it no longer functions as a belt loop. Overall in fair condition.
