5/22/26 - This is a Chinese copy of a Mauser "pre-M30" as they were transitioning from the post-war bolo to the M1930. With all of the present M1930 changes, such as the "step barrel" alterations and the simplified frame structure below the grip panels, this Mauser copy depicts a fascinating time in Mauser's history. This firearm has retained about 60% of its original finish, which is more of a generic blue finish as opposed to the high-blue finish we would normally see on a Mauser of this era. This Chinese copy has patina and minor pitting present over the entirety of the firearm. The bore is bright with clear rifling throughout. There is frost present throughout the bore and there is a groove around the whole bore about 1/4" from the muzzle. This M30 comes fitted with wood grip panels with no chips or cracks, but there is some wood missing from the top of the right grip panel.
